Hyde Park, Vermont — On Thursday, November 7th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., families, prospective students, and community members are welcome to Green Mountain Tech for their 2024 Community Open House. This is a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the innovative programs shaping the next generation of the workforce for Vermont and beyond. 

Attendees can tour the cutting-edge labs and classrooms, meet with dedicated instructors, and gain an in-depth understanding of how Green Mountain Tech’s career and technical education (CTE) programs empower students to succeed.

The 2024 Community Open House will feature light refreshments for guests.

Green Mountain Tech offers a wide range of hands-on learning opportunities, including programs in Allied Health, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Creative Media Art & Design, and more. Students not only acquire industry-relevant skills but also have the opportunity to earn industry certifications and college credits, positioning them for success in high-demand career fields. With a focus on real-world experience, students learn to problem-solve, innovate, and collaborate in ways that prepare them for immediate entry into the workforce and continued education.

According to CTE Vermont, 90% of CTE program graduates transition directly to work or college after high school graduation, 37% of CTE program graduates leave high school with college credit earned in their program, and 31% of CTE program graduates earned at least one postsecondary industry credential within their program.

Green Mountain Tech offers college courses through Dual Enrollment and Fast Forward, articulation agreements with colleges across the Northeast, internship opportunities and cooperative work experience, professional certifications, and industry-recognized credentials.
